Progression Guide

Regular Vs Leveling Race

SUHA offers two different leveling paths. Regular players have flexible progression and can use every standard EXP source. Leveling Race participants accept strict solo-hunting rules in exchange for a visible race identity and temporary VIP 6.

Two Progression Styles

Choose Before Level 5

Flexible Progression

Regular Player

Best for players who want to level with friends, use ExpBalls, complete quests, and move freely between maps. Regular players receive full hunting EXP and are not locked to the city route.

Competitive Solo Route

Leveling Race Participant

Best for players who want to prove their progress through personal hunting. Race participants gain VIP 6 for 15 days, but accept halved hunting EXP, required maps, no team EXP, and no ExpBalls.

Important Decision

Joining And Quitting The Leveling Race

  • You may only join the Leveling Race while your character is below Level 5.
  • Joining activates your race status and marker, and grants VIP 6 for 15 days.
  • After joining, your progress is judged through personal hunting in the required level maps.
  • You can quit the Leveling Race, but quitting removes the race tag and race-granted VIP.
  • Quitting is permanent for that character. You cannot join the Leveling Race again.
  • Decide before leveling beyond Level 4; a regular character cannot enter the race later.

Race Participants Only

Required Leveling Race Route

These map restrictions apply only to Leveling Race participants. Hunting outside the required map gives 0 hunting EXP and displays the map you must use.

Regular Players

Flexible Leveling Route

  • Regular players are not restricted to the required race maps and receive full hunting EXP wherever hunting EXP is available.
  • Use team leveling to share nearby monster EXP and help lower-level teammates progress.
  • Use ExpBalls and ExpBall-based rewards whenever they fit your leveling plan.
  • Follow the city route when it offers the best monsters, but move elsewhere when quests, events, or stronger spawns are more efficient.
  • Combine hunting with city hunting quests for fixed EXP and Meteor rewards.
  • Choose regular progression when flexibility and group play matter more than competing in the Leveling Race.

Competitive Progress

Leveling Race Strategy

  • Join before Level 5, then immediately confirm that your race identity and VIP 6 are active.
  • Move to the next required map as soon as your level enters its new range.
  • Your personal hunting EXP is halved, so prioritize monsters you can kill quickly and consistently.
  • Do not depend on a high-level teammate for EXP; race participants receive no team-share EXP.
  • City hunting quest EXP still works for race participants and should be included in the daily route.
  • Save ExpBalls instead of trying to use them during the race.
  • Upgrade weapon damage and maintain enough defense to reduce travel and recovery downtime.
  • Do not quit casually. Leaving removes the race VIP and permanently closes race entry for that character.
